It's that time of year again.
Paint contracts are being awarded and companies are looking for subcontract paint crews to fulfill their projects for the upcoming year. But it is also the time of year when work is sparse and finding interior work to keep crews busy can be difficult and stressful.
All too often paint companies take advantage of this timing and undervalue contracts, committing subcontractors into future projects that leave them working far below living rates.
Warline is different. We believe that for our industry to grow and to restore our place as a reputable and professional trade we need to work together with subcontractors and the workers in our industry. We believe by providing a fair and open environment we can set the bar higher for future projects and goals. It will help attract and retain quality workers in the painting profession.
We don't underbid jobs and we don't underpay our subcontractors. Our contracts are fair and our terms of payment are not complicated or extended. We provide you with the proper equipment to do the job efficiently and safely, whether that be scaffolding or boom lifts. We monitor your project from beginning to end and have an on-going onsite presence to help you with dealing with any situation that might arise.
For our exclusive subcontractors, we even offer access to our extended health care plan.
But it's a two-way street. And not every subcontractor is a good fit.
We expect our subcontractors to hold themselves to the same standards we expect of our employees.
We don't cut corners. We do the job properly and we do it well. We are polite, professional and proficient. We work safely and we work cleanly.
Customer service and quality control are the cornerstones of our work.
Our subcontractors are running their operations properly. In order to qualify as a subcontractor for Warline you must carry a minimum of $2 million in liability insurance. You must also be in good standing with WorkSafeBC and be filing on a quarterly basis (no annual filings allowed).
If you are committed to raising the bar in our industry and if you are looking for a better opportunity for you and your crew, drop us a line. Confirm you have your insurance and Worksafe in order and some details about your crew and capacity. We're looking forward to hearing from you.
And if we sound like a good fit but you are not in a position to provide the necessary requirements to be a subcontractor for Warline, check out our ad for employment with our company. We are always looking for motivated and committed individuals with a passion for painting to join our team.
We're not your typical painters. Are you?
