Thanks for taking the time to check us out. We have included our general Subcontractor policies below because we believe being transparent on our policies keeps problems from happening later.
Subcontractors must be in good standing WorkSafeBC and be filing on a quarterly basis. Payments will be withheld if WorkSafeBC status is not in good standing until it is returned to good standing.
The subcontractor must carry a minimum of $2 million commercial liability insurance. No work may commence until proof of insurance is provided.
All vehicles used by a subcontractor and his workers must NOT have any logos or advertising for another painting company while performing work for Warline Painting.
All subcontractors and their workers must wear Warline supplied t-shirts and adhere to the Warline Code of Conduct.
Contractors are responsible for correcting the deficiencies and completing work to the standards and specifications outlined at the beginning of each job.
Contractors are responsible for training, safety, and equipment of their workers.
Contractors are 100% accountable for the actions of their workers.
Payment will be made upon completion of painting and after inspection by Warline.
If invoices are submitted for partial work completed, the amount invoiced must be signed off by your Warline supervisor before the invoice is submitted.
Invoices must include the following information: Date, Invoice number, Subcontractor name and address, Details of work completed and with amount due (If more than one project is included in an invoice a separate subtotal and description of work and dates must be included for each project, GST number, WorkSafeBC number, Subtotal of GST portion of invoice and total amount due

Cheques will be issued five days after receipt and approval
Warline reserves the right to hold back 10% of all invoices for up to 55 days as per the Builders Lien Act of BC.
Any chargebacks, trade damage and fines will be charged to the subcontractor and deducted from the contract price.
Any deficiency or work not completed on time may be done by Warline and billed back to the contractor at a rate of $50 per hour.
