Warline Painting is a fast growing painting company with a warehouse in the Cloverdale, BC area. We are looking for a painter and warehouse assistant to work in the warehouse. This position will include the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Working with our cabinet division to sort, organize and clean cabinet jobs as they come into the warehouse.
  • Helping out the cabinet division with the management and organization of jobs
  • Working with our Production Manager to organize jobs getting ready for production
  • Put together job boxes for upcoming projects
  • Make paint samples for marketing
  • Keep the shop clean on a daily basis
  • Work on various painting projects as needed

  • Show a willingness to learn and ability to follow directions
  • Work in a team environment as well as have ability to work independently
  • Read and follow a scope of work and colour schedule
  • Take directions from crew leader, supervisor or foreman
  • Proper prep of surfaces before painting as directed
  • Painting of surfaces as directed
  • Maintaining a clean workplace
  • Daily set up and clean up
  • Maintain work logs and time sheets of daily activities
  • Arrive to work on time daily, ready to work at start time
  • Adhere to Warline's strict non-smoking policy at work

OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Must be able to stand, lift, and bend frequently. Must be able to lift or move objects up to 50 lbs.
